What is yoga
This discipline dates back to around 4000 years ago in Northern India. Yoga is essentially a very gentle form of exercise that attempts to bring together the mind, body and the soul. It's chief aim is to make the body more fit and supple, which in turn has positive effects on the rest of the human body's functions.

Yoga has many forms, but the most common in the western world is based on the Patanjali's yoga called Hatha Yoga.

The three main elements to this form of yoga are:

  • Breathing
  • Postures
  • Meditation

Yoga is suitable for everyone due to the gentleness by which it operates. So all the family and all age groups can benefit from yoga!
